SiC Coated Graphite Products (CVD COATED GRAPHITE MATERIAL)
Product Information
SIC coated graphite process: SiC coated graphite-based processes include chemical vapor deposition (CVD), precursor conversion, plasma spraying and other methods, among which the coating prepared by chemical vapor deposition method is uniform and dense, and has strong applicability.
Using methyltrichlorosilane (CHzSiCl3, MTS) as the silicon gas source and isostatic high-purity graphite material as the substrate, it is prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to directly combine silicon and carbon, and wrap the graphite substrate in a specific shape to form Silicon carbide (SIC) protective layer.
The final silicon carbide SiC is firmly combined with the graphite matrix, which endows the graphite matrix with special properties, so that the surface of the graphite matrix is dense, non-porous, high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant, and oxidation resistant.
SiC coating and graphite have good chemical compatibility, and the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the two is small. The use of SiC coating can effectively improve the wear resistance and oxidation resistance of graphite materials. Among them, the stoichiometric ratio, reaction temperature, dilution gas, impurity gas introduction and other conditions in the reaction conditions have a greater influence on the reaction.
Main Feature
High temperature anti-oxidation: Anti-oxidation, the anti-oxidation performance is still very good when the temperature is as high as 1600 °C.
High purity: It is produced by chemical vapor deposition method under high temperature chlorination conditions.
Erosion resistance: High hardness, dense surface, fine particles.
Corrosion resistance: Acid, alkali, salt and organic reagents.
Applications
1. Graphite base coating for GaN epitaxial growth in MOCVD equipment.
2. Graphite substrate coatings for epitaxial growth of single crystal silicon, including planar substrates, circular substrates and three-dimensional substrates.
3. Graphite chassis coating for monocrystalline silicon device sintering furnace.
4. Surface coating of graphite heaters (flat heaters, circular heaters, cylindrical heaters, etc.).
5. Graphite sagger coating for sintering of various oxide tunnel kilns.
6. Graphite-based coatings for powder metallurgy continuous sintering.
7. The SiC coating is polished by optical technology and used for space mirrors.
