CVC (pyrolytic) Coated Graphite Material

Graphite pyrolytic coating is pyrolytic carbon with high crystalline orientation deposited by chemical vapor phase deposition on graphite substrate at 1800℃~2000℃ under a certain furnace pressure of high-purity hydrocarbon gas. It has high density (2.20 g/cm), high purity (impurity content (0.0002%), and thermal, electrical, magnetic, and mechanical properties anisotropy. It can still maintain a vacuum of 10mmHg at around 1800°C.

Product Information


Pyrolytic coated graphite process:

Graphite pyrolytic coating is pyrolytic carbon with high crystalline orientation deposited by chemical vapor phase deposition on graphite substrate at 1800℃~2000℃ under a certain furnace pressure of high-purity hydrocarbon gas. It has high density (2.20 g/cm), high purity (impurity content (0.0002%), and thermal, electrical, magnetic, and mechanical properties anisotropy. It can still maintain a vacuum of 10mmHg at around 1800°C.


Main Feature



1. The surface is dense, without pores, and easy to machine.

2. High purity, total impurity content <20ppm, good air tightness.

3. High temperature resistance, the strength increases with the increase of the use temperature, and the strength reaches the highest value at 2750°C and sublimates at 3600°C.

4. Low elastic modulus, high thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent thermal shock resistance of the product.

5. Good chemical stability, resistant to acid, alkali, salt and organic reagents, does not work on molten metal, slag and other corrosive media, does not oxidize significantly in the atmosphere below 400 °C, and the oxidation rate increases significantly at 800 °C.

6. Do not release any gas at high temperature, and can maintain a vacuum of 10-7mmhg at about 1800°C.

2. Graphite heater coating in semiconductor industry.

3. Wafer annealing process PBN/PG composite heater coating.
